The local rugby team the Chicago Hounds—co-owned by out chef Art Smith and featuring LGBTQ+ team member Nick McCarthy—will host its Family Winter Rugby Fest on Sunday, Dec. 15, 12:30-3:30 p.m., at SeatGeek Dome in Bridgeview.
Attendees of all ages will be able to play touch rugby matches, with teams coached by current Hounds players. Plus, people can enjoy special walking rugby matches for adults—no experience required for any gameplay.
Afterward, people can enjoy pizza and treats alongside Chicago Hounds players and staff. There will also be holiday music, kids’ crafts.
