After she won a second title—helping the New York Liberty win its first last year—the Chicago Sky has signed Courtney Vandersloot, paving her return to the team, The Chicago Sun-Times reported.

From 2011-22, Vandersloot played for the Sky. Although the news will not be officially confirmed until Feb. 1, Vandersloot has changed a detail on her Instagram bio: Instead of “New York Liberty,” it now reads “Chicago Sky.”

During her initial time with the Sky, Vandersloot, a guard, was a four-time All-Star and a six-time assist leader.

Also, Vandersloot is slated to appear and play in the inaugural season of Unrivaled—a new women’s three-on-three basketball league that Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart founded.

In 2018, Vandersloot married then-Sky teammate Allie Quigley in Seattle. Vandersloot and Quigley helped the Sky win the WNBA title in 2021.
