CHICAGO (March 20, 2025) — The WNBA announced today the national broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2025 WNBA season. Chicago’s nationally televised games for the 2025 season will be on ESPN, ABC, CBS, ION and also streamed on ESPN3, CBS Sports Network, Prime Video and NBA TV.
Chicago will have marquee matchups exclusively on ABC, ESPN and CBS this season with a combined nine games scheduled for 2025, including the season opener at Indiana on May 17 on ABC. Two games will also be shown on ESPN3 and one game on CBS Sports Network.
Returning for its third year, ION will continue televising select Friday night matchups throughout the season. The Sky will have a total of five ION games, including three away games and two home games. The ION games will be against Atlanta, Golden State (3x) and Indiana.
Additionally, four out of the five Commissioner’s Cup games will also be televised nationally: June 7 against Indiana on CBS, June 10 at New York on ESPN, June 13 at Atlanta on ION and June 15 at Connecticut on CBS.
Four Sky games in 2025 will stream on Prime Video, including matchups against Dallas (May 29), Atlanta (August 7), New York (August 21) and Phoenix (August 28).
Chicago is slated to have three games on NBA TV, including two games against Las Vegas and one against New York.
All five of Chicago’s matchups against Indiana, all three games against Golden State and three out of four games against New York and Atlanta will all be televised or streamed nationally this season on various networks.
The Sky will also have their games broadcast locally exclusively on Weigel Broadcasting Co.’s WCIU, The U. Chicago recently announced their exclusive local broadcast partnership with The U on February 2025. WCIU, The U will provide live television broadcasts of 30+ Sky games this upcoming season and games will be available across all platforms, including over-the-air, cable, satellite and streaming.
Chicago will tip off the 2025 regular season on Saturday, May 17 against Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 12 p.m. CT. The Sky will also play three preseason games in 2025, including two against Minnesota on May 6 and 10, and one against the Brazilian National Team at LSU on May 2.
