The Inaugural Chicago Leather Pride Weekend (CLPW) took place in Chicago at the Leather Archives & Museum (LAM) and various bars throughout Rogers Park from May 2-4.

The celebratory weekend kicked off at Barrelman Tavern with the CLPW March down Clark Street to Whiskey Girl Tavern, Jackhammer and Leather 64Ten & Touché, before finishing at LAM. Alds. Maria Hadden (49th Ward) and Andre Vasquez (40th), were on hand to celebrate the festivities and presented the LAM with a city council resolution proclaiming the importance of LAM and the LGBTQ+ leather community for the City of Chicago.

Numerous other events took place at LAM over the weekend including a bake sale with the Second City Sisters; Launch and Lick: A Pie Throw Fundraiser; Leather Jeopardy with Boy Paul; and Fetish Follies: A Cabaret Fundraiser, hosted by Miguel Torres. All proceeds from the CLPW Weekend will go to fund LAM.
