On July 6, the Chicago Sky (5-12) fell to the Minnesota Lynx (17-2) 80-75 on the road inside Target Center.
At one point, the Sky led by 14 in the first quarter, and Chicago stayed in the game until the final buzzer. Angel Reese again led the way for Chicago with 16 points, 17 rebounds and six assists, extending her league-record streak of consecutive games with 15+ rebounds to five. All five of the Sky’s starters scored in double figures. Courtney Williams led the Lynx in scoring with a season-high 25 points.
The Sky will end a stretch of four road games with a matchup against the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, July 8.

In better news regarding the Sky, Reese was selected to the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.
This marks Reese’s second All-Star selection after becoming the fourth rookie in Sky history to be named to the team in 2024.
The 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game is set for Saturday, July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on ABC at 7:30 p.m. CT.
