In sharp contrast to his innocent but equally disturbed Plato in Rebel Without a Cause, LGBTQ+ actor Sal Mineo stars as a porno-obsessed, bodybuilding Travis Bickle type, with Juliet Prowse as a go-go dancer/hostess whose seemingly inevitable states of undress are spied on by an unknown Peeping Tom.” Elaine Stritch also stars as a “lesbian disco boss.” Filmmaker/actor Owen Kline, Cates’ grandson, is slated to appear for a post-screening Q&A following the 7 p.m. ET show on Aug. 8. The film can be viewed by everyone on Prime Video.
