Northside Queer Pride had its inaugural weekend June 27-28 in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
Saturday events included the Jarvis Block Party from Greenview Ave. to Sheridan Rd., along Jarvis Ave.; Queer & BIPOC Business Pop-Up on Paulina St., north of Howard St.; Jarvis Square Family Pride; a Board Game Meet-Up at Athena Boardgame Cafe, 1412 W. Lunt Ave.; and a Trans Non-Binary Meet-Up at Jarvis Square Tavern Cabana, 1502 W. Jarvis Ave.
Sunday Events included Jarvis Square Pride Party along the 1500 block of Jarvis St.; Cobblestone Pride Fest at Lunt to Morse Avenues, and Morse to Farwell Avenues, along Glenwood Ave., with DJs & local artists; and Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Glenwood Ave., presenting the play Screaming Queens: The Riot at Comptons Cafeteria.
