CHICAGO—The Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood Illinois Action (PPIA)—the non-partisan political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood of Illinois—announced endorsements for the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Candidates were selected based on their promotion of bodily autonomy and sexual and reproductive health care and their commitment to protecting the health and rights of all Illinoisans. The full list of endorsements, a voter guide and more information is available at ppiaction.org. Additional endorsements may be added at a later date before the general election.
“The Board selected candidates who we knew would fight for the bodily autonomy of all Illinois residents and visitors to our state,” said Alex Ensign, PPIA Board Chair. “Access to sexual and reproductive health care is under constant threat, which is why it’s so important for voters to elect leaders who will continue fighting in Springfield for the full spectrum of sexual and reproductive freedom. Everyone deserves the right to make their own health care decisions without interference from politicians or government.”
