‘This is wonderful,’ Sosa said of the turnout. Donations at the door benefited the non-profit organization Urban Gateways, which provides arts programs for kids. Sosa is heavily involved in non-profit agencies.
The local artist unveiled new pieces of his abstract art, which included cleverly titled paintings of futuristic olives; a cloud with silver lining; and pieces featuring bright, bold lines and hints of sparkle. Sosa’s new pieces ranged in form and style, including optical illusions, geometric shapes and free-form fun with lines and color.
