Why decorate just a tree? Comedienne Kathy Griffin and Malibu Rum light up the holiday season with a crazy contest that taps the inner decorating diva of every holiday reveler.
Legal drinking age locals will have the opportunity to showcase their holiday spirit by dressing themselves up in holiday-themed decorations, lights and do-dads, winning points for creativity and individuality. Hosted by television personality Kathy Griffin of Bravo’s My Life on the D-List and E!’s Fashion Police, contestants will compete for the best holiday costume with the winner receiving free electricity paid for one year by Malibu Rum (valued at $1,200).
Griffin will be in town Thursday, Dec. 1, 9 p.m., at Duffy’s, 420-1/2 West Diversey, (773) 549-9090.
