The Judas Kiss is contemporary Brit playwright David Hare’s take on the intimate details of the Oscar Wilde/Lord Alfred Douglas love affair and affair du scandal. This production at Circle Theatre marks the area premiere of the play. The Judas Kiss may not show you precisely what Oscar and Bosie did in bed, but it certainly will tell you what they thought about what they did in bed. One expects nothing less from a socialist intellectual such as Hare. Through Aug. 22 at Circle Theatre, 7300 W. Madison, Forest Park; (708) 771-0700; $20.
