The Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design (SOFA) CHICAGO expo returns to Navy Pier’s Festival Hall Nov. 3-6, with nearly 80 national and international galleries.

SOFA CHICAGO will kick-off with an opening-night preview on Thursday, Nov. 3, offering the public, collectors and the art and design community a first look at this year’s fair.

Among the expo’s highlights will be the Corning Museum of Glass hot glass road show; special exhibits; the Connect Design competition; and a lecture series, among other events.

Another notable occurrence will be a “living room” for HIV/AIDS survivor Jim Petrakis that designer/DIFFAChicago Executive Board member Richard Cassis and designer/dedicated volunteer Jake Theisen have created in the “LIFE : FIGHT : LOVE” exhibit.
