The Cook County treasurer’s office staff will be at Rainbow PUSH Coalition headquarters, 930 E. 50th St., every day to assist homeowners with their property-tax problems until the Annual Tax Sale that starts May 3.
Staff from the treasurer’s office will be there Mondays through Fridays at 12-5 p.m., and Saturdays at 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas is advising senior citizens to bring their driver’s licenses or state IDs. If their annual income is $65,000 or less, they should also bring their income-tax returns.
