The group of 40 Chicago independent, women-led restaurants—better known as Let’s Talk Womxn Chicago—has launched the monthly “Let’s Talk Womxn Supper Club & Conversation.”

The next event will take place Friday, June 25, 6:30-9 p.m., with a June 22 deadline for reservations and pre-orders. Attendees ($100 for two people) can choose between omnivore or vegetarian meals. Alternatively, meals can be picked up or delivered from Saigon Sisters, 567 W. Lake St., at 3-5 p.m. on June 25.

Each dinner features a panel and a five-course meal from five Let’s Talk women on the last Friday of each month.

The June 25 in-person dinner—taking place at Vermilion, 10 W. Hubbard St.—will feature five courses from five Let’s Talk Womxn Chicago restaurants plus a panel discussion with the entrepreneurs behind each: Rohini Dey, of Vermilion; Mary Aregoni, of Saigon Sisters; Julia Shell, of The Dandy Crown; Geri Hernandez, of Savory Crust; and Maya-Camille Broussard, of Justice of the Pies. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Human Rights Watch for #EndChildMarriage.
