On Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 in the presence of an intimate group of friends and family at the Mars Gallery in Chicago, Danielle L. Gilbert and Lisa M. Cretton exchanged vows and celebrated their Holy Union. Student Unitarian Universalist Minister Matt Cockrum presided over the ceremony. Danielle, a retail store manager, and Lisa, a regional operations manager, are co-founders of the Chicago Lesbian Social Club (CLSC), a social group now 60 members strong. Both are members of Chicago MSA and look forward to the 2003 softball season. Danielle (a.k.a. Chicago Vixen) is well recognized in the community, known for her singing voice and spin moves on the dance floor. Professionally trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York, Danielle has a passion for the stage. The couple will continue to reside in their home in Chicago and hope to start a family in 2003.
