Beauman “Beau” Kent Breeden, 41, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2023. Beau is survived by his partner, Eddie Gamboa, and their rabbits Cap and Debbie, as well as queer family that went above and beyond to care for him: Anthony Basco, Mark Davis, Kyle Eurek, Juanita Gamboa, Sophie Stern, Zac Thriffiley, Jesus Valles, Sarah Yeazel and many more friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lacy “Skip” Breeden III, and his beloved rabbit Archimedes.

Beau’s Chicago-based family would also like to extend their condolences to Beau’s Louisiana-based family, including his mother, Donna Long; step-mother Judy Breeden; sisters Lacy Aucoin (Wayne) and Brooke Braud (Wes); brother Wesley Breeden; and his many nieces and nephews.

Beau’s Chicago based-family will have a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Beau’s family and friends ask that you make a donation to one of the following non-profit organizations he supported:
