On June 25, the Chicago Fire FC fell to the Philadelphia Union 1-0 at Soldier Field during the team’s Pride Night.
However, rainbow spirit was everywhere. Both squads wore the annual Major League Soccer Pride warm-up jerseys. The Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles performed in the south courtyard to greet fans. The LGBTQ+ act The Divas performed the national anthem. Local queer artist Paul Octavious broke the glass and sounded the alarm. And (last but not least) there was a post-match Pride fireworks celebration.

Also, the Fire will take part in the Chicago Pride Parade, taking place Sunday, June 29, according to Chicago Fire FC Vice President, Matchday Operations and Guest Experience Joey Colby-Begovich.
As for the Fire’s next match, Chicago will return to the lakefront this weekend to take on Charlotte FC on Saturday, June 28. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and transmitted locally on WLSAM.com (English) and Que Buena Fire via the Uforia App (Spanish).
