The Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR); the Chicago Commission on Human Relations’ Advisory Council on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues; and Gerber/Hart Library are celebrating Pride Month by highlighting the achievements of the state’s GLBT community with a pictorial exhibit at the James R. Thompson Center. The exhibit will be shown from Mon., June 26, through Fri., June 30, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Included will be an exhibit of the complete Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame, from 1991 through 2005.

The weeklong exhibition will highlight the accomplishments and contributions of individuals and organizations; efforts to combat hatred and racism throughout Illinois; and the enforcement of anti-discrimination laws.
