A sleeps with B who sleeps with C who sleeps with … until it comes ’round to A again. Arthur Schnitzler’s frank comedy of sexual manners shocked the public circa 1900, not so much for the sexcapades as for the in flagrante mixing of social classes. Schnitzler told it as it was and is. Best known by its French title, La Ronde, the play has been adapted countless times and ways, and now comes to us as Seduction, a contemporary gay retelling by playwright Jack Heifner and performed by the Shamelessboyz, a visiting troupe of appropriately randy Brits (well, one can hope) in Bailiwick’s Pride Series. Seduction runs through July 9 only; 773-883-1090; $25.
