A 1999 graduate of Loyola University, Aimee Pine has worked for elected officials and on political campaigns throughout Chicago, including State Sen. Carol Ronen, Cook County Commissioner Mike Quigley and openly gay Ald. Tom Tunney. Currently, Aimee is Manager of Government Relations for Gay Games VII. Before joining the Gay Games, Aimee was the Director of Operations with Equality Illinois, where she helped in the passage of the state’s Human Rights Bill, which makes it illegal to discriminate in Illinois based on sexual orientation.

In addition to her political work, Aimee is co-founder of P.R. Productions, whose goal is to provide a resource to promote live theater in Chicagoland. Pine, with producing partner Michael J. Roberts, created the pro-theater project Stage Door Chicago, which allows Chicagoland theaters to promote their shows and have listeners hear reviewers and critics write and talk local, Broadway and the West End productions.

DID YOU KNOW? Aimee once worked at Dollywood, the theme park located in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
