1. The Lesbian Community Cancer Project web site (www.lccp.org) has a ton of info. Not only do you get strictly health-related items (e.g., quitting smoking and self-exams) but you also find out about upcoming events (e.g., the sixth annual Jazz Brunch Cruise on Sept. 16). In addition, you can find out how you can help the center through volunteering and/or donating. (You can even assist them by purchasing a Subaru, although there are certainly less expensive ways.)

2. Hunk Alert: You’ve seen him in TLC’s video for “Red Light Special” and you’ve watched him on the Soul Food television series. The delectable Boris Kodjoe has his own site (www.borisonline.com), which comes complete with career highlights (yea, yea, yea), his future plans (whatever …), and his portfolio (yea, baby!). The intriguingly titled Come Home With Me page provides a glimpse into the family of this heartthrob.

3. Don’t know where to get that body glitter or hair coloring for your next club outing? Well, hit up Club Things (www.clubthings.com/store.html). You’ll find everything from lasers to stash tins to e-shirts— items that use chip technology to create radiating displays. However, the most popular items may be the Kryptolightâ„¢ necklaces, which have apparently been sported by everyone who is anyone—including Julia Roberts and N’Sync.
