A memorial service has been planned for Lucky Horseshoe bar co-owner Larry “Sophie” Graham.
“You are missed by all whose path you crossed,” friends said in a press release. “Your laugh, your smile, your hugs and kisses will forever be in the memory of all whose lives you touched.”
The community is invited to a celebration of Sophie’s life Sunday, Aug. 12, 12-4 p.m. at Lucky Horseshoe, 3169 N. Halsted.
“Everyone will feel your presence there behind the bar with a drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other. You had graced us with your presence for too short a time when you left us on July 22, 2001. Rest in peace,” his friends said.
