1980s pop sensation Samantha Fox, the object of many male (and female) fantasties, came out a bit back—and now she’s REALLY out. She has reportedly married her manager—a woman, Myra Stratton. One of her famous songs was ‘I Wanna Have Some Fun.’
Streisand’s son
The New York Daily News reports that ‘the only son of Barbra Streisand and Elliott Gould is ailing. Jason Gould, 36, checked out of the New York Weill Cornell Medical Center this week after receiving treatment for ‘systemic problems,’ a hospital source told us. The National Enquirer reports that Gould is HIV-positive, and was receiving special care for a case of chickenpox. An immune system compromised with HIV would make any infection especially dangerous.’
Striking ‘out’ with players
Reuters news reports that The New York Post said it will apologize to baseball great Sandy Koufax for running a gossip item insinuating he was gay. ‘The piece reportedly led the former pitcher to sever his ties to his longtime team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. The National League baseball team, like the Post, is owned by News Corp. Ltd.,’ Reuters said. ‘But the Post in its apology … put the blame … on its rival, the New York Daily News, saying that while it never named Koufax in its report, the News did when it commented on the Post’s piece.’
