More than 600 people attended Mayor Richard Daley’s annual GLBT Pride Month

reception at the Chicago Cultural Center June 12. New this year were awards,

including to Ald. Tom Tunney and businessman Chuck Renslow. Daley said that

GLBTs are part of the fabric of Chicago, in every profession, and that the city is better

because of the contributions of the GLBT community. At left is Cook County
