Pegasus Players brightens the seasonal stage with Neil Simon’s affectionate comedy, Broadway Bound. The final part of his autobiographical trilogy (Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues are the earlier two plays), Simon pays loving homage to post-World War II New York, and his own Brooklyn family, as he relates how he and his older brother broke into radio and early television as writers. Broadway Bound runs at Pegasus (O’Rourke Theatre, Truman College) through Dec. 21. (773) 878-9761; $20-$25.
