LGBT backers of John Kerry’s candidacy for U.S. president will march together Sunday, June 27, in Chicago’s Pride Parade.
‘By marching for John Kerry on our day of individual and family celebration, just as on Nov. 2, we shall stand proudly with Sen. Kerry,’ organizers stated. ‘We will show that our voices and our votes and our community shall not be marginalized but shall be a force that demands recognition and respect. By marching—together—we will demonstrate our support for Sen. Kerry, a champion for gay and lesbian equal rights for more than 20 years.’
