PrideFest in Milwaukee had perfect weather both days; great, friendly crowds having a good time; dynamite entertainment and for the first time—politics. Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle spoke at length, rousing the crowd at the opening Community Rally, with Sen. Russ Feingold and U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin adding excitement and even more energy with many standing ovations. Our Windy City Gay Idols 2003 and finalists entertained during their Milwaukee Gay Idol Finals. If you didn’t make it up to Milwaukee this year plan on it for June 2005!
