Frontrunners/Frontwalkers Chicago’s 23rd Proud To Run, which raised funds for Gerber/Hart Library and Pride Youth, was a great success Saturday, with more than 500 runners and walkers at Montrose and the Lake. Former pro football player Esera Tuaolo helped start the race, and presented the winning medals. Former Chicago Bear football player Christopher Zorich just happened to be walking by with friends and stopped to show his support for his friend Tuaolo. He received loud applause when introduced to the crowd. Also in the race was Peg Grey, longtime sports activist and founder of the Proud to Run benefit races.
