The biggest, most impressive show in Bailiwick Repertory’s history, the musical Parade, continues through July 18 at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport. The Tony Award-winning book is by Alfred Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy) and the Tony-winning score is by Jason Robert Brown, influenced by American marches, anthems, hymns, two-steps and gospels. Set in Atlanta in 1913 and based on fact, Parade is an unusual story of love and injustice: the conviction and lynching of a Jewish Yankee from Brooklyn, Leo Frank, for the rape and murder of a young girl. Parade sports a cast of 30. (773) 325-1700; $30-$40.
