Robert T. Mayers, 43, formerly of Arizona, passed away Oct. 30 after a long illness.
Longtime partner of Jon R. Zilliox, currently of Chicago, formerly of West Dundee.
Beloved son of William G. Mayers, formerly of Mt. Prospect, and the late Bernice C. Mayers.
Dearest brother of Nancy (Richard) Meyer of Georgia; Gail (Hank) King of Arizona; William (Bonnie) Mayers of Mt. Prospect; Janice (Joe) Moyer of North Hoffman Estates; Lois (the late Ira) Rosenberg of Schaumburg; Richard (fiancée Georgia) Mayers of Bensenville and Carol (John) Spicuzza of Spring Grove, IL.
Bobby was a very proud and loving uncle to 16 nieces and nephews.
Bob will be remembered for his courage and style, as well as his love of life, dialogue, cooking, sports, and caring helpful gestures.
