It hardly seems possible, but it’s been more than 10 years since the innovative Paul Taylor Dance Company has appeared in Chicago. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) rectifies that booking oversight this weekend, June 2-4, with four performances in the MCA’s intimate theater. The Taylor troupe’s mixed repertory of contemporary dances features works set to music by Bach, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Hector Piazzolla as well as Jewish klezmer tunes and square dance songs. The MCA engagement is part of the Paul Taylor Dance Company’s 50-state tour marking the troupe’s 50th anniversary season. (312) 397-4010; $40 ($3 for MCA members).
