Thank you for publishing such a potent lesson in the perils of conducting political business by e-mail last week. I’m certain Jessica Halem can look forward to membership in the Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame some day. Our community owes an enormous debt of gratitude to the individuals referred to in the correspondence, and we should all hope that the ruptures that led to this painful airing will soon be mended.

In the photo caption about the Gerber/Hart Library awards, the winners of the John H. Mueller Volunteer Service Award should have been listed as Terry Brandt and Sean Russell. J. Kerry Eason and Edward J. Barry, Jr. are the board members who presented the awards.
