Richard C. Gutenschwager, devoted father of Cameron and loving partner of Brad Trask, passed away Feb. 6 after a long illness. He was 43.
Gutenschwager was a well-known professional in the area of property management and last served as a vice president for Draper & Kramer. Born in Elmhurst and a lifelong resident of Chicago, he avidly supported the arts.
Gutenschwager is also survived by a brother, William; a sister-in-law, Di; their children, Lynn and Bob; a great-niece, Leah; and a great-nephew, Alexander. A requiem will be performed in his honor March 15 at 1 p.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 900 N. Michigan.
