Clarence ‘Dick’ A. Benton, a retired florist, passed away Aug. 21. He was 58.
‘A man who was certainly loved by Jesus,’ according to his daughter, Benton was the beloved father of Morgan Cardenas of Irving, Texas, and the very proud and loving ‘Pepaw’ of Emily Nicole, Hannah Dawn and Carlina Ruth Cardenas. In addition, he was the dear friend of Van Miller and Carolyn Donaldson of Texas.
A memorial service is being held in Texas. Donations may be sent to the family c/o The Cremation Society of Illinois, 736 W. Addison, Chicago, IL 60613.
