A measure that would lift restrictions on where male and female impersonators may perform in Chicago was approved Nov. 28 by the City Council’s Zoning Committee and sent to the full council for a vote next month.
Under the proposed change, clubs featuring impersonators would not need a special use permit for adult entertainment. Currently, adult entertainers are restricted to small areas of the city that have approval.
