This December, the shops on North Halsted made holiday shopping fun. On Dec. 1-17, the Northalsted Area Merchants Association hosted ‘Holiday on Halsted,’ where shoppers can enjoyed discounted shopping specials, seasonal entertainment, decorations and giveaways.
As an added incentive, ‘Holiday on Halsted’ offered a discount card good for 10 percent off select items at businesses such as Arco de Cuchilleros, Batteries Not Included, Jack’s on Halsted and The North End. The discount card was distributed through various North Halsted businesses and on their Web sites.
