Chicago Opera Theater (COT) has announced its 2008 spring season—and, for many, it’s one of the company’s most anticipated.

The centerpiece of the 2008 spring season’s highlights is the first fully-staged production in the United States of John Adams’ A Flowering Tree, with John Adams conducting two performances. The season opens with Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Concluding the season is Orlando, a Handel masterpiece not seen on the Chicago stage in over two decades. The spring season will run April 20-June 8, 2008.

Season subscriptions for the 2008 spring season are $90-$345, which include a ticket to all three evenings. COT also offers a 50-percent discounted student rate in most sections. See ChicagoOperaTheater.org aor call 312-704-8414.
