Trailblazers Honored by Bailiwick

Bailiwick Repertory, 1229 W. Belmont, held its annual Trailblazer Awards Dec. 3—and plenty of local stars showed up to watch the honorees and entertainment. Chicagoan Dale Levitski, a runner-up on Bravo’s critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated reality show Top Chef, received a Trailblazer Award. Other awardees included Amy Bloom (executive director of Equality Illinois), Art Johnston and Jose (Pepe) Peña (co-owners of Sidetrack), Marcia Lipetz (president and CEO of Executive Service Corps), Patrick Sinozich (artistic director of Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus), Neil Steinberg (columnist, Chicago Sun-Times) and entertainer Honey West.
