Nobel Prize-winning Italian playwright Dario Fo is famed to stirring up controversy, whether it’s making fun of Catholic hypocrisy or governmental failures. This is acutely seen in his satire Accidental Death of an Anarchist, where a wacky self-professed anarchist undergoes a severe (and silly) round of brutal police questioning. Accidental Death of an Anarchist plays in previews 8 p.m. Feb. 12 and 7 p.m. Feb. 13 with a 7 p.m. opening Feb. 14. The regular run goes through March 19 and is 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays with 3 p.m. matinees Sundays at Signal Ensemble Theatre, 1802 W. Berenice. Tickets are $10 for previews; $20 for the regular run; and $15 for students and seniors. Call 773-347-1350 or visit www.signalensemble.com.
