Project Runway judge and Marie Claire Magazine Creative Director Nina Garcia hosted an event Nov. 7 at the Emporio Armani store just off the Magnificent Mile.
Corri McFadden and The Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum presented an evening that was full of high fashion. Previous America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez was a surprise guest.
Shoppers came out dressed for the occasion, grooving to a DJ and sipping cocktails for two and half hours. A portion of the sales for the night was donated to the council that supports the history of costume in the arts.
