—”Sally,” by Bibi Bourelly: This song is an undeniable hit, thanks to a ’60s-style hook. Also, take a look at the video, which is populated by some very colorful characters. (The video is at www.youtube.com/watch?v=1REwtjUc4mY.)

—Uptown Pho: With all the cool restaurants on Argyle Avenue in Chicago’s Uptown, this Vietnamese restaurant ranks with the best of them. There are pages upon pages of delicious choices—and the dishes are sizeable. Also, the chalkboard instructions about properly holding chopsticks don’t hurt.

—Cheyenne Jackson’s Renaissance: PS Classics—a label dedicated to celebrating the heritage of Broadway and popular song—has released Renaissance, the new solo album from out Grammy Award nominee Cheyenne Jackson. Renaissance is adapted and expanded from “Music of the Mad Men Era,” the solo concert Jackson has toured with over the last several years. Songs include “Besame Mucho,” “A Song for You” and “I (Who Have Nothing),” among others. See CheyenneJackson.com or PSClassics.com.

—The Wendy Williams Show: Love her or hate her, daytime diva Wendy Williams says it like she means it—well, at least as much as her attorneys will allow. Whether she’s dishing on celebrities (“What’s happened to Johnny Depp? Remember when he used to be cute?”) or even her own body (with the enhanced Williams once saying she wants to be shaped like “a capital P”), she lets the barbs fly.

—Gay & Lesbian History for Kids: Jerome Pohlen’s book aims to educate children about the contributions LGBT individuals have made throughout history, from Valley Forge to the 1963 March on Washington, spotlighting heroes such as Marlene Dietrich and Alan Turing along the way.
