Utah native Steven Fales is back in town bear his soul with Confessions of a Mormon Boy, which was previously seen in 2005 at the former Bailiwick Repertory Theatre. In this autobiographical one-man show, Fales shares how he turned to drugs and worked as a gay escort in New York after years in Utah of damaging reparative therapy and a society-pressured marriage to a woman. Confessions of a Mormon Boy plays four performances only between Thursday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Sept. 10, in The Broadway space of the Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway St. Tickets are $30-$40; call 800-737-0984 or visit PrideFilmsAndPlays.com.
