Chicago’s deadly Iroquois Theatre fire of 1903 is commemorated again with a limited revival of Jay Torrence’s Burning Bluebeard. The acclaimed performance piece features six singed clowns and acrobats meditating on the gross malfeasance of this disaster that took the lives of 600 people (mostly women and children). The Neo-Futurists and The Ruffians revive Burning Bluebeard for six performances Dec. 27-31, at The Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N. Ashland Ave. Admission is $25-$75 each; visit Neofuturists.org for more information.
