Gina Yashere will perform her comedy Saturday, Sept. 15, at 9 p.m. at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Yashere broke into the U.S. comedy scene on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where she made it to the final 10. In addition to her half-hour special on season two of Netflix’s The Standups (released in March), Yashere has several comedy specials, including Skinny B*tch (for Showtime) and Ticking Boxes (for SeeSo), and she is the only British comedian to ever appear on the iconic Def Comedy Jam.
