Madonna’s upcoming “Celebration” tour has been postponed, an Instagram post from her manager Guy Oseary noted, according to Variety.
“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU,” he wrote. “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.
“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”
Produced by Live Nation, the tour includes stops in Detroit, Chicago, NYC, Miami, Los Angeles and more before it hits Europe, where she will visit 11 cities throughout the fall, including London, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm, among others. After wrapping the European dates in London on Dec. 6, the tour is scheduled to return to North America for another run through Jan, 20, 2024.
