Chasse Rehwinkel—Chicago’s comptroller—announced that he’s leaving that post to take a job as chief financial officer of Devon Bank, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
“In my career I have been blessed to [work] as the Chicago Comptroller as well as State Bank Director—amongst other amazing opportunities. I’ve met some truly amazing people and worked on incredible things,” Rehwinkel posted on X.
“But the time has come for the next adventure!” he continued. “I’m excited to join a new team, but will always be thankful for the many amazing public servants I’ve worked with in my career.”
